Job Title: Customer Data Governance Analyst Location: Bangalore Employment Type: Full-time, regular, hybrid work arrangement The job We are looking for a detail-oriented Customer Data Governance Analyst to join our Customer Data Governance team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of customer master data across enterprise systems. The successful candidate will have experience managing customer and contact data, maintaining account hierarchies, supporting account consolidation activities, and applying data governance standards to create and maintain trusted golden records. You will partner with Sales, Operations, and Technology teams to drive data quality and support business growth through reliable customer data. Key responsibilities Create, maintain, and govern customer and contact master data in Salesforce and related business systems. Manage and maintain account hierarchies to ensure accurate customer relationships and organizational structures. Perform account consolidation, contact merge, and customer record maintenance activities in line with governance standards. Execute match and merge processes to eliminate duplicate records and establish trusted golden records. Conduct data quality reviews, audits, and remediation activities to improve data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and other business stakeholders to resolve customer data issues and support business requirements Essential requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related discipline. Experience in Customer Master Data Management, Data Governance, or Business Operations. Hands-on experience with Salesforce and customer data management processes. Strong understanding of account hierarchy management, account consolidation, contact merging, and duplicate prevention methodologies. Experience with match and merge processes and maintaining golden records within a master data management environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with excellent attention to detail. Desired skills Experience with Informatica MDM, Informatica Data Quality, or similar master data management tools. Understanding of data governance frameworks, data stewardship practices, and data quality controls. Ability to analyze data quality trends and identify opportunities for process improvement. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools for data analysis and governance reporting.
