JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Customer Insights & Satisfaction Intern, you'll gain hands-on exposure to how Greystar listens to, measures, and acts on resident feedback across the portfolio. You'll work directly with the Customer Insights team on real reporting, resident experience, and process improvement initiatives.

What you'll focus on:

  • Customer Experience: Gather and assess resident and customer input to understand business needs and identify trends across feedback channels
  • Analytics: Track and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) used to evaluate customer satisfaction and business impact across all relevant channels
  • Resident Concern Triage: Review incoming resident concerns and support tickets, help route them to the appropriate team based on issue type and urgency, and monitor follow-up timelines to ensure timely resolution
  • Relationship Building: Communicate client and customer feedback to team members to help implement action plans for improvement.

What you'll do:

  • Support projects and daily activities alongside the Customer Insights team and cross-functional partners
  • Complete training programs to deepen your understanding of Greystar's customer experience and marketing operations
  • Assist with triaging and categorizing resident concerns, helping ensure issues are flagged, assigned, and tracked through resolution
  • Conduct research on customer satisfaction and resident experience trends, presenting findings in a capstone project
  • Assist senior team members with reporting and analysis for data-driven customer insights initiatives
  • Contribute to special projects, working with other Greystar teams to meet shared goals
  • Create process documentation to support team efficiency and knowledge-sharing

Qualifications:

  • Graduating between December 2028 and May 2029
  • Preferred major: Marketing, Communications, Business, Project Management, or related fields
  • Curiosity and a desire to learn
  • Quantitative background that demonstrates analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and capability to articulate complex topics
  • High standard of accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines

The Greystar Summer Internship Program packs 10 weeks with real projects, real responsibility, and real connections. You'll dive straight into the action on a team like Investment, Finance, Marketing, IT, Data, Leasing, Development, or Operations—doing work that actually moves the needle, not just watching from the sidelines.

Along the way, you'll get a front-row seat to the rest of the business too, through:

  • Executive Speaker Series — hear directly from the people leading the industry
  • Business Segment Overviews — get the full picture of how each part of Greystar works
  • Mentor Relationships — build connections that go beyond the summer
  • Site Visits — see the work happening in the field, up close
  • Community Outreach — give back alongside your team
  • Networking Opportunities — meet people across the company

You'll close out the summer by presenting your Final Capstone Project, your chance to show off what you built, what you learned, and the impact you made.

  • Program dates: June 2, 2027 – August 6, 2027
  • The compensation for this position is $25/hour.

This internship offers a flexible remote format with the opportunity to work in a hybrid capacity if you are located near one of our Corporate Offices.

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
