2. About the Opportunity:
The Customer Service Advocate role is designed to provide essential support to customers by resolving inquiries related to benefits, eligibility, claims, and other health plan features. This position plays a critical role in guiding customers through healthcare options, helping them maximize their benefits, and facilitating connections with care providers. The role contributes to enhancing customer experience and promotes self-sufficiency in navigating healthcare resources.
3. Responsibilities:
• Respond to and resolve customer service inquiries on the first call
• Assist customers with understanding and selecting health benefit plans
• Contact care providers to assist with appointment scheduling or specialist connections
• Guide customers in using online health portals and resources
• Navigate multiple databases to research complex health and plan-related issues
4. Requirements:
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum age of 18 years
• At least 1 year of phone-based customer service or call center experience
• Ability to handle 50 to 70 calls per day with full attention
• Proficiency with Windows PC applications and ability to learn new systems
• Availability for full-time work (40 hours/week), Monday through Friday, within 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM CST shift
• Flexibility for occasional overtime and weekend work during peak periods (January 1 to April 1)
• Reside within the state of Indiana with a suitable remote work environment and reliable wired high-speed internet
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• The salary ranges from $18 to $32 hourly based on experience and other factors
• Comprehensive benefits package including incentive programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contributions subject to eligibility
