Customer Service & Appointment Setter -- Remote Alberta Contractor

About The Role
ClearResults is looking for a reliable and customer-focused
Customer Service & Appointment Setter to support the growth of Keil Electric and its multi-location home services operations.
As an independent contractor, you will work remotely from Canada and help manage customer communications, incoming calls, warm leads, appointment scheduling, and CRM activity.
This role is well suited for someone who is organized, comfortable speaking with customers by phone, able to work independently, and confident learning and using CRM systems such as
GoHighLevel.
You will primarily support the Kyle market while also providing backup coverage for operations in Austin and Lake Charles.
Compensation
- $15.00 CAD per hour for approved hours worked
- +$8 CAD for each qualified appointment booked
- Total earnings will vary based on hours worked and appointment volume
- No stated cap on appointment-booking bonuses
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Communication
- Answer incoming customer calls professionally
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and other approved communication channels
- Provide clear information about services, scheduling, and next steps
- Build trust and confidence with homeowners and commercial customers
- Maintain a warm, professional, and helpful communication style
Appointment Setting & Lead Follow-Up
- Respond to warm leads and open estimates
- Identify customer needs and answer questions
- Follow up with prospective customers when appropriate
- Qualify opportunities and book appointments for field technicians
- Help customers move forward with service when there is a good fit
GoHighLevel CRM & Scheduling
- Use GoHighLevel to manage incoming calls, leads, customer communications, and appointments
- Schedule and route qualified appointments for field technicians
- Maintain accurate customer, lead, estimate, and appointment information in the CRM
- Track follow-ups and customer activity throughout the sales process
- Support multiple locations and service markets through the centralized CRM system
Markets & Time Zone Coverage
This is a multi-location support role.
You will primarily support the Kyle market while also providing backup coverage for operations in Austin and Lake Charles.
You must be available to support customers and operations across
Pacific and Central Time Zones. Specific coverage hours and expected availability will be discussed during the contracting process.
Requirements
- Must be physically located in Alberta
- Comfortable working as an independent contractor/freelancer
- Able to manage your own remote workspace and work schedule
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Professional and confident phone presence
- Previous experience in customer service, appointment setting, inside sales, dispatch, or administrative support is preferred
- Comfortable handling incoming calls and customer inquiries
- Experience with GoHighLevel or a similar CRM is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office environment
Independent Contractor Structure
This is a
100% independent contractor opportunity, not a traditional employee position.
The contractor will be responsible for managing their own remote workspace, working within agreed-upon coverage requirements, tracking approved hours and qualified appointments, and submitting invoices according to the agreed-upon contracting process.
Specific contractor terms, onboarding requirements, coverage expectations, and invoicing procedures will be discussed before the contract begins.
