Your Role

As a Customer Service Representative (French), you will:

• Guide customers through account creation, online navigation, and order placement in both French and English.
• Provide expert advice on frame styling, lens selection, and prescription interpretation.
• Verify prescription accuracy and check real-time product inventory to suggest alternative options when necessary.
• Resolve customer complaints, returns, exchanges, and refunds following established company procedures.
• Communicate order updates, delays, and tracking information professionally to manage client expectations.
• Maintain complete and confidential customer interaction records within Salesforce Service Cloud.
• Gather and forward client feedback to product and marketing teams to improve website UX and product offerings.
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bilingual Fluency: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
• Optical & Prescription Literacy: Direct ability to read, interpret, and explain optical prescriptions, lens types, and frame fittings.
• CRM Proficiency: Practical experience using Salesforce Service Cloud (or equivalent enterprise CRM) to log cases and track orders.
• Problem-Solving & De-escalation: Strong objection-handling and problem-solving skills to resolve customer disputes effectively.
• Data Security & Compliance: Strict commitment to keeping confidential records and customer financial data secure.
  
  

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Prior customer service experience within e-commerce, retail eyewear, or optometry practices.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking, order processing, and logisitics management systems.
• High attention to detail when auditing optical measurements and custom lens configurations.
• Adaptability to attend ongoing technical training on optical products and software tools.
