This role focuses on coordinating airfreight import shipments, managing customer enquiries and working closely with overseas offices and operational partners to ensure timely, accurate and compliant delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate airfreight import shipments with customers, overseas offices, agents and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Respond to customer enquiries, monitor shipments and provide updates on arrivals, delays and delivery status.
- Verify shipping documents and coordinate customs clearance and import permit compliance.
- Check freight rates, supplier charges and customer approvals to ensure billing accuracy and shipment profitability.
- Resolve shipment discrepancies and service issues in collaboration with operational and warehouse teams.
- Prepare customer reports, maintain accurate shipment records and ensure timely billing handover and job closure.
- Follow customer procedures, regulatory requirements and quality, health, safety and environmental standards.
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level qualification.
- 1–2 years of customer service experience for Executive positions, or 3–4 years for Senior Executive positions.
- Experience in freight forwarding, particularly airfreight operations, will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with shipping terms and documentation; knowledge of both air and sea freight is preferred.
- Good written and spoken English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organised and attentive to detail, with the ability to manage competing shipment priorities.
- Proactive, responsible and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
- A customer service mindset and commitment to resolving issues promptly.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Gain exposure to international freight operations within an established multinational logistics business.
- Work closely with a global network of offices, customers and logistics partners.
- Build practical experience in shipment coordination, customs processes, customer management and operational problem-solving.
