ClassCover Ireland - Available to Start Immediately.
**This role is based in Ireland. Only candidates currently living in Ireland will be considered**
ClassCover is an edtech platform that connects schools with Substitute Teachers and SNAs, making cover quick, simple and stress-free. We’re well established in Australia, and we’ve launched in Ireland. We’re now looking for someone to help us look after our foundation Irish schools from the start.
We are looking for an experienced Customer Success Specialist who wants to be the trusted advisor for our schools. You’ll guide each school through the whole customer success journey: a warm welcome and onboarding, confident everyday use, consistent follow-ups and check-ins, and regular conversations about how it’s going and what’s next. This role is home-based, with some travel to visit schools and the odd conference, so you’ll have the autonomy to own your schools while being part of a friendly, collaborative team.
You’ll thrive here if you are proactive, solutions-focused, and love building strong, lasting relationships. We’re looking for someone who can truly put themselves in the shoes of school principals and secretaries, understand their challenges, and deliver practical solutions that make a difference.
Contract: 6 months, with the possibility to extend to full-time
Location: Dublin – working from home, with some travel to schools across Ireland if required
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Reports to: Senior Manager, Customer Experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Being the trusted advisor for your schools: understanding what each one is trying to achieve, giving honest advice on getting the most from ClassCover, and being the person they turn to first
- Owning the full customer success journey for each school: welcome and onboarding, building confident everyday use, consistent follow-ups, regular check-ins and conversations about what’s next
- Onboarding new Irish schools, helping them get set up and feel confident using ClassCover, by video call, phone and in person
- Visiting schools to build strong relationships and get proper face-to-face feedback
- Being a friendly, reliable point of contact for schools by phone, email, chat and video call
- Keeping an eye on school usage, spotting schools that are quiet or at risk, and following up early with helpful check-ins so nothing slips through the cracks
- Capturing school feedback (the good, the bad and the ideas) and sharing it with the team
- Representing ClassCover at education conferences and events when needed
- Keeping school records tidy and up to date in our CRM
What you’ll bring:
- 4+ years in customer success, account management or customer support, ideally in an edtech or education-focused SaaS company
- Experience owning the full customer lifecycle, from onboarding and adoption through to follow-ups and renewal, and acting as a trusted advisor rather than just answering tickets
- A good feel for how Irish schools work (primary, post-primary or special schools), or the ability to pick it up fast
- Clear, friendly writing and a calm, confident manner, on the phone and in person, with busy principals and school secretaries
- Comfort with the tools behind a CS team, such as a CRM (we use HubSpot), help desk or chat tools, and video calls. We’ll train you on the rest
- Good judgement about what to fix yourself and what to pass on, and a habit of following things through
- Happy to travel occasionally around Ireland to visit schools, and to attend conferences and events when needed - must have own transport
- Happy working independently from home during Irish hours, with some flexibility for the occasional early morning call with the wider team
- The right to work in Ireland
Nice to have:
- Experience with school software such as a school management system or a cover booking tool
- Experience with a launch, pilot or new-market rollout
- Familiarity with GDPR and handling school data carefully
Why you’ll love working with us:
- Get in on the ground floor of a new market and have a real say in how we support Irish schools
- A 6-month contract with a genuine path to a full-time role for the right person
- Work with a friendly, hands-on team across Australia and Ireland
- Meaningful work: you’ll be helping schools find cover faster, so teachers can get on with teaching
At ClassCover, your work directly contributes to making education more accessible, efficient, and impactful. If you’re ready to join a company where your ideas and energy will help drive real change, we’d love to hear from you.
Send your CV and a short note on why you’d be a great fit to hello@classcoverhq.com by 30th October 2026. If you’ve worked in edtech SaaS, tell us a bit about what you did with schools or education customers.
