Role Description The CW | Senior PHP Integration Engineer (Third-Party Integrations) is a full-time hybrid role based in the National Capital Region, Philippines, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust PHP-based integrations with third-party systems, services, and APIs used by banking and finance clients. Day-to-day activities include analyzing integration requirements, implementing secure and scalable integration solutions, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and optimizing existing integrations for performance and reliability. The position also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, systems architects, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless data exchange and adherence to regulatory and security standards. The engineer is expected to contribute to integration best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement of integration frameworks and tools.

Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to assess requirements, identify risks, and design effective integration solutions.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging complex issues across APIs, services, and distributed systems.
- Solid experience in software development with PHP and related frameworks, including secure coding practices and performance optimization.
- Hands-on expertise in integration and systems engineering, including RESTful APIs, web services, message queues, and data formats such as JSON and XML.
- Experience in banking and finance or other highly regulated industries is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and automated testing for integration workflows.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional, multicultural teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
