Cyber Incident Response Analyst – 12 Month Contract - Remote

What’s involved

• Performing cyber incident triage, investigation, digital forensics and response alongside the SOC.
• Acting as an escalation point, coordinating incident response and remediation across Cyber, IT and outsourced providers.
• Improving SOC use cases, incident response playbooks and operational processes.
• Supporting monitoring, detection and response using SIEM, EDR, SOAR and automation.
• Identifying and validating security weaknesses using manual and offensive security techniques.
• Testing cyber controls by simulating relevant threat actor techniques.
• Supporting cyber simulations, tabletop exercises and continuous improvement activities.

What’s needed

• 4+ years in SOC, Incident Response or Offensive Security.
• Strong hands-on experience in incident investigation, digital forensics, triage and response.
• Experience with SIEM, Threat Intelligence, SOAR and EDR technologies such as CrowdStrike, ZeroFox and Splunk.
• Practical knowledge of offensive security tools including Burp Suite, Nmap and Metasploit.
• Scripting knowledge in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Relevant certification such as GIAC, CISSP, OSCP, CEH or similar.
