📋 Role Responsibilities:
🟩 Monitor security alerts, logs, and system activity to detect potential cyber threats.
🟩 Assist in identifying, investigating, and responding to security incidents.
🟩 Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation activities.
🟩 Monitor network, endpoint, cloud, and application security.
🟩 Support security audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments.
🟩 Analyze security events using SIEM and monitoring tools.
🟩 Assist in maintaining firewalls, antivirus solutions, endpoint protection, and access controls.
🟩 Document security incidents, findings, and recommendations.
🟩 Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen infrastructure security.
🟩 Support identity and access management (IAM) processes.
🟩 Participate in security awareness initiatives and promote cybersecurity best practices.
🟩 Help maintain disaster recovery and business continuity security procedures.
🟩 Stay informed about emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.
🟩 Contribute to continuous improvement of security processes and controls.
🟩 Assist with additional cybersecurity projects and operational tasks as required.
✅ Qualifications:
🟢 Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
🟢 Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, networking, and operating systems.
🟢 Familiarity with security concepts including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and access control.
🟢 Knowledge of common cyber threats such as phishing, malware, ransomware, and social engineering.
🟢 Understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls is an advantage.
🟢 Familiarity with SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanning tools, or endpoint security solutions is beneficial.
🟢 Basic knowledge of Windows, Linux, and cloud security concepts.
🟢 Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and network fundamentals.
🟢 Basic scripting knowledge in Python, PowerShell, or Bash is an advantage.
🟢 Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
🟢 Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
🟢 High attention to detail with a security-focused mindset.
🟢 Eagerness to learn new technologies and cybersecurity best practices.
