We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow SecOps Developer / Consultant to support the further development and implementation of Vulnerability Response and Security Incident Response within a large enterprise cybersecurity environment.
You will work closely with cybersecurity specialists, architects, platform engineers and DevOps teams to translate security requirements into practical and scalable ServiceNow solutions.
As a ServiceNow SecOps specialist, you will take responsibility for both the functional and technical development of security processes within ServiceNow.
Your responsibilities will include:
Further developing and rolling out ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR).
Creating and implementing a deployment plan for Security Incident Response (SIR).
Designing security processes, workflows, data flows and automations.
Gathering requirements and translating them into clear user stories and functional designs.
Facilitating design sessions and workshops with technical and business stakeholders.
Translating requirements into technical designs, configurations and development tasks.
Configuring and extending ServiceNow SecOps functionality, including:
Playbooks
Workflows
Flow Designer
Orchestration
Notifications
Business Rules
Building integrations between ServiceNow and external vulnerability/security scanning tools.
Developing using JavaScript and Glide APIs.
Working with IntegrationHub, ACLs, UI Actions and ServiceNow scripting.
Supporting testing, implementation and technical delivery alongside the ServiceNow platform team.
Advising internal teams on how security processes can be effectively embedded into their environments.
You have strong hands-on ServiceNow experience combined with an understanding of cybersecurity operations.
We are looking for someone with:
Medior to senior experience working with ServiceNow SecOps.
Strong hands-on experience with Vulnerability Response.
Experience with Security Incident Response (SIR).
Strong ServiceNow development experience, including:
JavaScript / Glide
Flow Designer
IntegrationHub
Business Rules
UI Actions
ACLs
Workflows and automation
Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems and security tooling.
Experience creating user stories, functional requirements and technical designs.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical delivery.
Strong stakeholder communication skills.
A pragmatic and results-focused working style.
HBO/WO-level education in IT, Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
Professional proficiency in Dutch and English.
ServiceNow SecOps certifications.
Experience with enterprise vulnerability management tooling.
Previous experience within large, complex or regulated organisations.
Broader knowledge of cybersecurity operations, DevSecOps or vulnerability management.
You will join a specialist cybersecurity team responsible for strengthening the organisation's digital resilience.
The team works closely with security specialists, technical information security officers, security architects, DevOps teams, platform engineers and management. The focus is not only on designing security controls, but ensuring they are technically implemented, automated and effectively used throughout the organisation.
