Cybersecurity Intern

Candidates residing in the following states will be considered for remote employment: Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. Remote work will not be permitted from any other state at this time This position will focus on learning how the organization operates and expected to gain valuable insight that can further chosen career field. This position reports to the Manager or Director of the department and is employed by Mosaic Health Systems. Assist with conducting risk assessments, risk/issue tracking, building metrics, cybersecurity governance risk and compliance projects, identity access management projects Assist with the following special projects: Third Party Risk Management projects; Vulnerability Management Remediation projects; Medical Device vulnerability Remediation projects; Identity Access Management projects Other duties as assigned Education H.S. Diploma - Required Junior or Senior college level student - Preferred Work Experience Computer knowledge - Required Familiar with a variety of software program, including Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint. - Required Licenses and Certifications Upon Hire Travel Requirements Must be able to travel between various system facilities and off-site locations as needed. - Required Skills and Abilities Essential Technical/Motor Skills Input data into computer, able to use calculator, computer, telephone, fax and copy machine. Interpersonal Skills Able to effectively communicate on the phone and in person. Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Essential Physical Requirements Essential Mental Abilities Performs basic math functions, manipulate numbers, and process information accurately. Comprehend, explain, and understand interpretation of policies effectively. Essential Sensory Requirements Visual skills required to locate files in alphabetical order.
