About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Cyber Defence professional to provide operational leadership and continuity during a temporary period. You’ll help lead Security Operations, coordinate incident and threat management, and support the team in day-to-day cyber defence activities. The role is hands-on and leadership-focused, with responsibility for improving security operations, monitoring and incident response.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate Security Operations (SOC)
Drive incident management and threat follow-up
Support the team with operational security matters
Help lead P1 and major security incidents when needed, including occasional outside-office-hours support
Follow up on security actions, risks and improvement initiatives
Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers
Act as a subject matter expert on cyber defense and security operations
Improve MTTR (Mean Time to Respond/Recover)
Increase security monitoring and detection coverage
Ensure timely follow-up of incidents, threats and vulnerabilities
Translate technical findings into clear actions and reporting
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements:
Strong professional background in SOC, Incident Response and Cyber Defence
Experience leading or coordinating Security Operations
Strong experience in incident management and threat follow-up
Experience with Microsoft XDR and Microsoft Sentinel
Experience with Palo Alto security solutions
Understanding of modern identity and non-human identity risks
Experience coordinating with internal teams and external service providers
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to analyse technical security findings and translate them into clear actions
Experience working with security monitoring, detection and vulnerability management
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure incident situations
