Seeking expressions of interest from an experienced Cyber Security Manager for a Canberra-based contract opportunity.

The role will support a significant cyber security uplift, covering cyber strategy, maturity assessment, multi-year roadmaps, investment/business cases and delivery across enterprise IT and OT environments.

📍 Canberra, ACT

🏠 Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days WFH (after agreement with the Manager)

💰 $120–$130 per hour, depending on experience

📅 Potential engagement up to 18 months

We’re looking for experience across areas such as:

• Cyber strategy and uplift programs
• Cyber risk, governance and maturity assessments
• Costed multi-year cyber roadmaps
• Business case development and executive reporting
• Cyber project/program delivery
• ISO 27001, NIST CSF, Essential Eight, ISM and/or PSPF
• Microsoft security, IAM/MFA and network security
• Senior stakeholder and executive engagement

Experience in critical infrastructure, utilities, OT or other regulated environments would be highly regarded. The requirement also places emphasis on business cases, executive communication and practical delivery capability.
