Data Analysis Internship

We are seeking a Data Analysis Intern to assist with a large-scale project for our client, a Paris-based organization. This role focuses on ensuring financial data flows accurately through reporting systems to support better business decisions. You will work alongside our senior consultants in a fully remote environment to clean, model, and visualize complex datasets.

What You Will Do

• Clean and organize large financial datasets to ensure accuracy for reporting.
• Assist in building and testing Power BI dashboards to track key performance indicators.
• Map data between legacy systems and modern cloud-based EPM platforms.
• Write and update technical documentation for system administrators.
• Review consolidation rules and intercompany eliminations to identify discrepancies.
• Support the senior consulting team in drafting project status reports for the Paris-based client.
• Participate in remote team meetings to discuss data modeling strategies and project milestones.
• Validate data loads to ensure information is transferred correctly between systems.

What We Are Looking For

• A basic understanding of accounting principles or financial reporting concepts.
• Proficiency in Excel, including familiarity with pivot tables and basic formulas.
• A strong interest in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Curiosity about how corporate finance systems and databases interact.
• Excellent attention to detail when working with complex spreadsheets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• The ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote setting.
• Willingness to learn technical configurations for Enterprise Performance Management tools.
