About this role:

Join our Bistro.sk team as a Data Analyst (Advanced Analytics), where you'll utilize your versatile analytical toolkit – from SQL and dashboarding to causal analysis – to support JET’s strategic development beyond restaurant delivery. You will partner closely with business and data teams to understand their needs and build scalable data solutions that fuel our growth and enable self-service insights. You will closely cooperate with local senior management and global data teams.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Data Product Development: Design, build, and continuously iterate on scalable data products (dashboards, reports, analytical tools, pipelines) that deliver actionable insights.
• Semantic Layer & Self-Service: Design and implement a semantic data layer that empowers stakeholders to independently access, understand, and query data.
• Data Governance & Quality: Champion data governance best practices, including robust documentation, metadata management, data tagging, and quality assurance checks.
• AI Solutions & Automation: Leverage and evaluate modern AI tools and solutions to streamline analytical workflows and enable self-service insights for leadership.
• Business Impact: Proactively uncover data-driven opportunities to accelerate growth, optimize operational processes, and elevate user experience.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Partner closely with local management and global data teams to drive alignment and cultivate a data-driven culture across the organization.

What will you bring to the table?

• Proven Analytical Track Record: Solid experience in an analytical role (Data, Business, Product Analyst, or Data Scientist) applying statistical methods to solve complex business problems.
• Core Technical Stack (SQL & BI): Expert-level proficiency in writing complex, efficient SQL (Google BigQuery) and strong visualization expertise in Tableau or advanced BI platforms.
• Python, Big Data & Modeling: Hands-on experience with Python (or similar) for data manipulation and advanced statistical analysis; familiarity with Big Data frameworks and predictive modeling is a strong plus.
• AI Tool Proficiency: Hands-on proficiency using advanced AI tools and solutions (e.g., Claude Code or similar) to accelerate analytical efficiency (must-have).
• Domain Knowledge: Prior background in the tech industry—specifically within online platforms, two-sided marketplaces, or logistics—is a strong advantage.
• Delivery & Collaboration: High standards for clean, well-documented code, strong end-to-end task ownership, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Language Requirements (Mandatory): Professional-level fluency in both Slovak and English (written and spoken) to effectively collaborate with local management and global teams.
