Data Analyst / Data Integration Specialist | 100% Remote – Portugal

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst / Data Integration Specialist to join a challenging Data environment, contributing to the integration, transformation and continuous improvement of modern Data Platforms.

The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on expertise in Informatica Cloud (IDMC), SQL and Data Integration, with the autonomy and analytical mindset required to understand business needs, challenge requirements and propose effective technical solutions.


Main Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain data integration and ingestion solutions using Informatica Cloud (IDMC).
  • Work with modern Data Platforms and Data Lake environments, ideally on AWS.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and data transformation processes.
  • Contribute to Data Platform integration, ingestion and data-flow projects.
  • Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into effective Data solutions.
  • Challenge requirements when appropriate and proactively recommend alternative or optimized approaches.
  • Ensure the quality, reliability and efficiency of delivered solutions.
  • Work autonomously, managing priorities and delivering assigned topics end-to-end.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities, business needs and urgent requests.
  • Collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Maintain a pragmatic, service-oriented and results-driven approach focused on delivering business value.


Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud / IDMC.
  • Excellent SQL skills.
  • Experience in Data Integration, ETL/ELT and Data Platform/Data Lake projects.
  • Experience with AWS Data services, particularly Amazon S3 and Redshift, is highly valued.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • High degree of autonomy and ownership.
  • Ability to understand and challenge requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in demanding and continuously evolving environments.
  • Flexibility and responsiveness when priorities change.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Service-oriented mindset with a strong focus on quality and delivery.
