Our client is a UK-based professional services and accountancy firm known for its modern, entrepreneurial approach to traditionally conservative accounting services. The Role
We are looking for a Data Analyst to develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, transform data from multiple sources, and deliver meaningful insights that support business decisions. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, optimise data models, and present complex information through clear and effective visualisations.

What You'll Do

• Developing, maintaining and enhancing Power BI dashboards.

• Working closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, business objectives and key performance indicators.

• Analysing data to identify trends, opportunities, risks and actionable insights.

• Translating complex datasets into clear, engaging and easy-to-understand visualisations and reporting.

• Supporting data-driven decision making across operational, commercial and strategic initiatives.

• Extracting, transforming and validating data from multiple sources.

• Optimising data models, Power Query transformations and reporting performance.

• Ensuring data accuracy, consistency and adherence to reporting standards.

• Presenting findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Supporting the development of a data-driven culture by promoting best practices in reporting.

• Ability to analyse complex datasets and communicate findings in a clear and compelling way.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Reporting Analyst or similar analytics-focused role.

• Strong Power BI development experience, including data modelling, DAX, Power Query and report design.

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.

• Understanding of ETL processes and data transformation techniques.

Desirable

• Experience within a professional services, financial services or accountancy environment.

• Experience building semantic models and supporting self-service reporting initiatives.

• Knowledge of data governance, data quality and reporting standards.

• Experience using Salesforce.
