Data Preparation and Analysis Time: 30% • Identify and collect necessary information from internal and external sources, as appropriate, and prepare data for analysis. Advise colleagues on data transformation and imputation techniques. • Identify and extract the appropriate information for analysis from various databases • Transform variables as needed to provide input file to modeling software • Impute missing values • Identify and correct problematic data • Transfer information to statistical software • Apply appropriate analytical techniques to explore data using linear and logistic regression, descriptive statistics, clustering, forecasting, mapping, and simulation in order to identify and analyze historical trends/patterns • Develop predictive models Data Management Time: 30% • Maintain, through routine updates, collected data so that connections between disparately collected and analyzed data can be elucidated and capitalized upon • Ensure that updates to collected and stored data are reflected in existing analyses • Develop reporting functionality that allows reports and dashboards to be easily updated when data are refreshed Presentation of Results Time: 30% • Create, package and communicate analytic work (synthesis) using appropriate models and medium for relevant insights and applicable data visualizations including but not limited to graphs, plots, information graphics, tables, and charts. • Compile, interpret, and present results effectively in the context of the project, both verbally and in writing using Tableau, Tableau Server, Microsoft Office software products, or other statistical modeling tools • Create dynamic dashboards using Tableau Server that enable hospital leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions • Develop reporting options to support ongoing activities • Provide dashboards to organizational senior leadership containing data and trend analyses for strategic decision making • Maintain the format consistency for new and existing reports Administrative Coordination Time: 10% • Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans and project schedules • Coordinate with members of cross-functional teams to ensure that deadlines are met • Other duties as required Pay Range: $69,400.00 - $107,600.00 FSLA Status: Exempt Closing : At MSK, we believe in fair, competitive pay that reflects your job, experience, and skills.
