Data Analyst (Online Trading) – Bangkok
Overview
A multinational online-trading broker is hiring a Data Analyst in Bangkok to turn deposit, trading, customer and partner data into insights that directly shape business decisions.
Responsibilities
• Analyse deposits, withdrawals, trading volumes, customer behaviour, IB/partner structures and promotions
• Find anomalies, discrepancies and risks and investigate root causes
• Reconcile data across CRM, trading platforms and internal ledgers
• Build and automate daily, weekly and monthly management reports
• Present clear findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
• Investigate churn, promotion performance and the impact of policy changes
• Work with IT and AI teams on data needs; document sources and methods
Requirements
• 2+ years of professional data analysis
• Strong SQL (joins, window functions, large datasets)
• Hands-on Python for analysis (pandas, Polars or similar)
• Fluent English; strong communication
• Comfortable using AI tools in analytical work
• Forex/CFD, brokerage, fintech or payments experience is a strong advantage
• Reconciliation, dashboards, A/B testing or cohort analysis is a plus; DuckDB, Grafana, Metabase, Looker Studio a plus
