Role Description

We are looking for a Finland based part-time freelance Data Analyst / Power BI Developer to support an EV charging infrastructure benchmarking product.

The role is approximately 8 hours per week, fully remote, with compensation of €960/month.

The work focuses on collecting and structuring public EV charging data from European markets and turning it into useful benchmarking insights for Charge Point Operators (CPOs).

Key responsibilities include:

• Extracting data from official European National Access Point (NAP) and other public data sources

• Cleaning, transforming, and standardising datasets from multiple countries

• Maintaining data used for CPO benchmarking

• Managing datasets stored in AWS S3

• Supporting cost-efficient data flows between cloud storage and Power BI

• Building and maintaining Power BI dashboards

• Developing useful KPIs, metrics, and visualisations for CPO benchmarking

• Monitoring data quality and adapting workflows when public data sources change

• Identifying opportunities to improve reporting and automate recurring processes

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong Power BI and Power Query skills

• Good understanding of data modelling and dashboard design

• Experience working with APIs, CSV, JSON, XML, or public/open datasets

• Ability to work independently with data from multiple sources

• Experience with AWS S3 or similar cloud storage

• Good analytical judgement when defining KPIs and benchmarking metrics

Experience with Python, SQL, DAX, data pipeline automation, geospatial data, EV charging, or mobility data is considered a plus.

The role is best suited to someone comfortable taking ownership of an existing analytics workflow and improving it over time.

Existing data sources, dashboards, infrastructure, and processes are already in place.

Commitment: approximately 8 hours/week

Compensation: €960/month
