Data Analyst (Power BI / Python / SQL)

Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid)

Contract: 6 months, ASAP start

About the role

Our client, a leading Belgian organisation, is looking for a Data Analyst to join its Customer & Usage Experience squad. You'll use big data, advanced analytics and strong visualisation to find insights that measurably improve the customer experience, working closely with BI specialists, data scientists and big data experts.

What you'll do

• Identify and develop new insights into customer and usage experience
• Analyse large, complex datasets using statistical and machine learning methods
• Build business-focused Power BI visualisations
• Translate business requirements into clear analytical questions
• Present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Turn analysis into actionable recommendations
• Contribute to building and maintaining data pipelines

What you'll bring

• 2+ years' experience in data analysis or a related field
• Hands-on SQL and Python
• Strong Power BI experience
• Experience with on-premises relational databases and big data / cloud environments (Azure, Cloudera, Hadoop, Teradata)
• Solid statistics: correlation, data reduction, clustering, segmentation, confidence intervals, regression, machine learning
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or similar
• Professional NL/EN or FR/EN

Nice to have

• PySpark and DAX
• Bayesian algorithms and hierarchical regression
• Telecoms sector experience
• Customer or usage data at scale
