Program Description The Data Analyst Traineeship at MedTourEasy is a remote program focused on supporting data-driven decision-making in healthcare. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and organizing healthcare data from various sources, as well as assisting in basic data analysis and reporting. The trainee will help build and maintain simple dashboards, prepare visualizations, and contribute to interpreting trends and patterns related to care coordination and patient outcomes. The program also involves documenting analytical processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and communicating findings in clear, structured formats under the guidance of senior analysts.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify patterns, and support evidence-based recommendations.
- Foundational knowledge of Data Analytics and Data Modeling to work with datasets and support reporting and insights.
- Basic understanding of Statistics to perform descriptive analysis and assist in evaluating trends and correlations.
- Effective Communication skills to present findings clearly, collaborate with team members, and document work.
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel or Google Sheets; exposure to SQL, Python, or R is an advantage.
- Interest in healthcare data, care coordination, or health informatics; prior academic or project experience in related fields is beneficial.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work remotely, manage time effectively, and learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
