Programme Description:
This remote traineeship program for a Data Analyst involves working with healthcare-related datasets to generate insights that support MedTourEasy’s services and partner solutions. On a day-to-day basis, the intern will collect, clean, and organise data from various sources, perform basic statistical analysis, and assist in building data models that inform healthcare option comparisons. The program includes preparing clear reports, dashboards, or visualisations to communicate findings to internal stakeholders and partners. The trainee will collaborate with cross-functional teammates to refine data requirements, validate results, and support ongoing analytical projects that improve the quality and clarity of information provided to users. This traineeship offers practical experience in data analytics within an international healthcare context.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex information and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Foundational experience or coursework in data analytics and data modelling.
- Basic knowledge of statistics, including descriptive measures and hypothesis testing.
- Effective communication skills for presenting data findings in a clear, structured manner.
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, or a programming language like Python or R for data analysis.
- Attention to detail, logical thinking, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, or a related field.
- Interest in global healthcare and willingness to learn about medical tourism and international health systems.
