Join our Data Analytics team in Ireland.

Join our Data Analytics team as a Data Analytics Application Scientist and play a key role in helping biopharma and pharmaceutical companies unlock the value of their data through advanced analytics. By combining industry knowledge with data-driven methodologies, you will support customers in improving process understanding, accelerating innovation, and advancing the development and production of life-changing therapies for better health for more people. Based in Ireland, you will work in a customer-facing role and become part of a global team of experts delivering advanced analytics solutions to leading biopharma and pharmaceutical organizations. Regular travel (30%) within Europe is required.

Grow With Us – Your Responsibilities

• Support biopharma and pharmaceutical customers in solving complex process and business challenges using advanced data analytics

• Implement and deploy advanced analytics solutions within customer environments

• Act as a subject matter expert in customer projects and support pre-sales and post-sales activities across Europe

• Analyze process and manufacturing data and develop data-driven models using the Umetrics software suite

• Work closely with customers to improve process understanding, optimize performance, and identify new opportunities through data analysis

• Collaborate with colleagues across regions to support global customer accounts

• Deliver training and technical support on SIMCA®, MODDE®, SIMCA-online®, and other data analytics solutions

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure successful project delivery and long-term partnerships

• Create technical documentation, application notes, presentations, and project reports

• Gather customer feedback and provide insights to support the development of future analytics solutions

• Represent Sartorius at conferences, seminars, workshops, and industry forums

• Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the business

What Will Convince Us

• Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, Life Sciences, Data Analytics, Statistics, Informatics, or a related discipline

• Professional experience within the biopharma or pharmaceutical industry with a strong understanding of manufacturing, process development, MSAT, or related operations

• Experience working with process data, data analysis, process monitoring, or statistical evaluation of manufacturing or development processes

• Knowledge of multivariate data analysis (MVDA), machine learning, advanced statistics, MSPC, PAT, QbD, or related analytical approaches would be advantageous

• Interest in developing expertise in advanced data analytics and applying data-driven approaches to solve customer challenges

• Experience in downstream processing, chromatography, or related bioprocessing applications would be considered a strong advantage

• Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within an international team

• Experience with SIMCA®, MODDE®, or SIMCA-online® would be beneficial

• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages would be advantageous

• Consulting, training, project management, or customer support experience would be an asset

• Willingness to travel regularly within Europe
