Purpose and Scope

As the Data & Insights Manager, you play a critical role in delivering actionable business intelligence that supports commercial strategy and value delivery across the organization. You leverage market, customer, competitor, and performance data to generate insights that drive informed decision-making, forecasting, and business planning. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you transform complex data into strategic recommendations that support sustainable business growth and improved patient outcomes.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead commercial insights generation for assigned brands/products by analyzing market, customer, and competitor data to support strategic business decisions
• Develop and execute insight plans aligned with global strategy and local business priorities, including annual business planning activities
• Monitor market dynamics, trends, access environments, unmet needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks
• Support forecasting, business planning, and investment decisions through robust analytics, business cases, and scenario modelling
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Forecasting, and Operations teams to ensure aligned, insight-driven decision-making

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Life Sciences, or equivalent
• Experience in market research, business analytics, strategic forecasting, commercial excellence, or a related discipline
• Strong capability to collect, analyze, and interpret primary and secondary data sources to generate objective and actionable business insights
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive collaboration across multiple functions without formal reporting authority
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations for senior leadership
• Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills, with a proactive, solution-oriented, and compliance-focused mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience defining and implementing KPIs and performance metrics to support sustainable business growth
• Hands-on experience with Qlik or similar business intelligence and data visualization tools
• Strong understanding of commercial analytics within the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience supporting brand strategy, forecasting, and investment business cases
• Fluency in English

Salary Range

In accordance with the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (Kollektivvertrag), the minimum gross annual salary for this position is EUR 74.400€ gross p.a.. Depending on qualifications and experience, a higher salary may be offered.
