Learn more at elite.com. Job Description: The Data Architect at Elite will play a pivotal role in shaping the data architecture and reporting strategy for our platform. This role requires a deep understanding of data management, cloud technologies, and the ability to design scalable and efficient data solutions. Architects at Elite are hands-on, working with the engineering teams to deliver products to market. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure services and a strong background in data architecture, data governance, and business intelligence. Work Arrangement: ​ Remote ​ What You’ll Do: Define and implement the data architecture strategy for our SaaS platform. Define a data platform that allows strong data governance, sound operational control, and the flexibility needed by end customers. Lead the design and guide the development of scalable models, data pipelines, and data warehouses / lakes using Azure Fabric. Collaborate with product teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Develop and maintain a data governance framework. Oversee the implementation of data integration, ETL processes, and data migration strategies. Design and implement advanced analytics and reporting solutions to support business decision-making. Partner with other architects and engineers to design and deliver AI solutions using the most current AI practices. Mentor and guide junior data engineers and architects. Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and company objectives.​ What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s Degree​ in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience. 9–12 years​ of experience in data architecture, data management, and business intelligence Extensive experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics. Excellent problem-solving skills, with strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. Proven experience in designing and implementing data governance frameworks. Experience in the legal or financial sectors is a plus. Ability to travel up ​<10%​ as business needs require Role requires the following physical capacity:​ ​Sedentary: primarily desk/computer work.
