Data Architect (Azure | GenAI | RAG | Agentic AI)

We are looking for an Azure Data Architect who will be responsible for designing and developing modern data platforms based on the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, as well as building data architectures that support GenAI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI solutions. We are seeking an expert who can combine deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of business needs and help drive the organization's Data & AI strategy.

In this position you will:

  • Design and develop enterprise-scale data architectures on Microsoft Azure.
  • Build scalable solutions supporting applications powered by GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI.
  • Design enterprise data and knowledge layers for AI-driven solutions.
  • Define metadata-driven and configuration-based data ingestion processes.
  • Design, implement, and optimize solutions leveraging Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Build and evolve Data Lake, Lakehouse, and analytics architectures using Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Databricks.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, AI teams, and Data Engineering teams to define and deliver target solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain architectural documentation.
  • Analyze and modernize existing data environments and platforms.
  • Support delivery teams during implementation and architectural decision-making processes.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, performance, scalability, and availability requirements.

We are looking for you, if you:

  • Have experience working as a Data Architect, Solution Architect, or Enterprise Architect in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Have hands-on experience designing modern data platforms within Microsoft Azure.
  • Possess strong expertise in Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Have worked with Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, and Lakehouse architectures.
  • Have experience delivering projects involving GenAI, RAG, or Agentic AI.
  • Are capable of designing solutions for both structured and unstructured data.
  • Understand data preparation for AI systems, semantic search, embeddings, and vector search concepts.
  • Have experience in data modeling and building scalable data integration and ingestion frameworks.
  • Can effectively collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Have excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Additionally, we value:
