OVERVIEW

GIC Sales & commercial capabilities team partners with our global General Mills sales teams in providing them with analytical horsepower and enable business continuity so they can focus on core activities – Selling, driving distribution gains and optimizing merchandising plans to deliver sales volume targets. We enable customer pricing & promotion strategies across the global markets through our focused capabilities of Sales Execution, Trade & Strategic Revenue Management and Category Management. Teams within function are aligned to the above focused capabilities for each of our markets and each team member specializes in domains of Advanced Analytics, Visual Insights & Planogramming.

We apply the principles of analytics to everything we do, constantly experimenting to discover new ways to add value to our stakeholders, customers and team members.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality delivery across own desk, tagged FSAs, and trainees.
• Lead onboarding, training, and mentoring of new FSAs and contract resources to enable smooth transition and capability building.
• Drive process optimization and value-add projects across FSA desks to improve efficiency, standardization, and effectiveness.
• Maintain process documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams to close workflow gaps and strengthen operations.
• Provide customer-specific reporting and ad hoc data support using tools such as Nielsen, E2 Open, and AFO.
• Support regional trade and sales reporting with strong attention to detail, quality, and responsiveness.
• Manage contracts, deal sheets, portal submissions, pricing updates, and promotional documentation in line with approval processes.
• Support sales execution through sell sheets, distribution planning, image management, trade planner updates, food show coordination, and product/item setup forms.
• Demonstrate Engaging Leader behaviors by fostering inclusion, showing accountability, and maintaining a learning mindset.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor/Masters from any stream
• 2+ years of experience in any of the following: account management, trade funding, analytics, finance, sales, marketing, and/or category management, retail
• Excellence communication & Interpersonal skills
• Project management experience/skills (attention to detail, follow through, communication, independent worker)
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, PPT)
• Key leadership characteristics: integrity, operate with a growth mindset, collaborative, strong communicator & learning agility
• Attention to detail & Strong communication skills
• Problem Solving skills & Able to build and maintain relationship with customers
• Intelligent, achievement oriented, self-motivated, pleasant personality with the desire to learn and grow
• Ability to Multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
