About The Opportunity
We're looking for a Data Business Analyst to act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical data teams.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong business analysis skills with a solid understanding of data platforms and cloud technologies. You'll work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and Technical Analysts to transform business needs into scalable, data-driven solutions.
Rather than focusing solely on reporting or dashboard development, you'll play a strategic role throughout the project lifecycle—from business discovery and requirements gathering to solution evaluation and technical handoff.

What You'll Do
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand business objectives and data needs.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Facilitate discovery sessions and assess project requirements.
- Conduct solution assessments, including buy vs. build analyses.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for Data Engineers and Technical Analysts.
- Support solution architecture discussions and estimation activities.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Engineering teams throughout project delivery.
- Analyze data and identify opportunities to improve business processes and decision-making.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports when needed.
- Ensure solutions meet business objectives, technical standards, and data governance best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong experience gathering and translating business requirements.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Understanding of data engineering workflows and modern data platforms.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Advanced or Fluent English.
Nice to Have
- SQL knowledge.
- Experience with data modeling.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience supporting solution architecture discussions.
- Previous experience working with enterprise data platforms.
