Job Title: Data Center Land Development Manager Portfolio Management Analyst

Job Description

This role serves as a key member of the data center land development team, with a primary focus on portfolio data management, analytics, and reporting across a fast-growing real estate development portfolio in the AMERs region. You will coordinate closely with Land Development, Site Services, Engineering, Construction, and other internal partners to ensure accurate, consistent, and transparent portfolio information across all phases of the data center development lifecycle. By transforming complex project-level data into clear portfolio-level insights, you will help drive effective decision-making, highlight risks and opportunities, and support the successful delivery of large-scale data center projects.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate across internal Land Acquisition, Engineering and Design, Utility, Fiber, Environmental, Construction, Site Services, Business Operations, Finance, Legal, and other teams to support an end-to-end, coordinated delivery of data center development projects.
  • Manage and maintain portfolio data across multiple databases, systems, and reporting tools, ensuring accurate, consistent, and up-to-date information for the Land Development and Site Services portfolio.
  • Track and maintain key data points across the entire real estate development lifecycle, including right of entry, site due diligence, land acquisition and control, land use entitlements, permitting, civil construction and land disturbance, vertical construction, and transition to operational status.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent portfolio data structure that includes project attributes, lifecycle stages, milestones, schedules, status, dependencies, risks, and other key performance indicators.
  • Monitor portfolio data for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and timeliness, proactively identifying discrepancies, gaps, duplicate records, and other data quality issues across multiple systems.
  • Coordinate with project teams and functional stakeholders to validate, reconcile, and update portfolio information, ensuring alignment between source systems and portfolio-level reporting.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, scorecards, and portfolio views that provide clear visibility into project status, milestone achievement, schedule performance, portfolio health, risks, and emerging trends.
  • Analyze portfolio data to identify trends, dependencies, bottlenecks, risks, opportunities, and performance indicators that may impact delivery across individual projects, markets, or the broader portfolio.
  • Translate complex quantitative and qualitative portfolio data into concise, decision-oriented narratives that clearly communicate portfolio health, performance, changes over time, and areas requiring leadership attention.
  • Support recurring portfolio reviews, business reviews, planning activities, leadership updates, and other operating rhythms by delivering accurate and timely data, analysis, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain data standards, definitions, governance processes, and documentation to promote consistent portfolio reporting across projects, markets, and functional teams.
  • Support ongoing improvements to portfolio management systems, database structures, reporting tools, dashboards, and data workflows to increase automation, scalability, accuracy, and usability.
  • Partner closely with internal teams to understand data requirements and maintain an integrated, holistic view of portfolio performance across multiple geographies and project phases.
  • Support ad hoc analyses and special projects by combining data from multiple sources, performing structured analysis, and clearly summarizing findings, recommendations, and potential business impacts.
  • Contribute to and reinforce a culture of data integrity, accountability, transparency, speed, and continuous improvement while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Work cross-functionally on a day-to-day basis to manage, maintain, and reconcile data, ensuring data integrity and historical context are preserved across the portfolio.
  • Use portfolio data to create narratives that highlight progress, pinch points, risks, failures, and successes, and leverage these insights to drive efficiency and improve overall portfolio performance.
  • Deliver accurate portfolio data consistently, maintain historical context of the portfolio through structured data, and support regular updates and reviews as key measures of performance.

Essential Skills

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in portfolio analytics, data management, database management, business intelligence, project controls, real estate analytics, or a similar analytical role supporting complex projects or programs.
  • Demonstrated experience building, maintaining, and managing databases or structured data systems, including establishing data fields, maintaining records, validating information, and supporting ongoing data quality.
  • Experience managing and reconciling information across multiple databases, systems, or reporting platforms, including identifying inconsistencies and maintaining alignment between data sources.
  • Experience tracking projects or assets through multiple lifecycle stages and maintaining accurate records of status, milestones, schedules, risks, and dependencies.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing large datasets and translating findings into clear narratives, insights, trends, and performance assessments for operational and leadership audiences.
  • Experience developing and maintaining recurring reports, dashboards, scorecards, and other portfolio management tools.
  • Strong foundation in database management, data tracking, data validation, data reconciliation, and structured data management across multiple systems or platforms.
  • Ability to manage large and complex datasets containing project milestones, schedules, lifecycle stages, geographic information, risks, dependencies, and other portfolio attributes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, anomalies, gaps, correlations, risks, and performance indicators within complex portfolio datasets.
  • Demonstrated ability to transform quantitative and qualitative data into clear, concise narratives regarding portfolio health, performance, risks, trends, and priorities.
  • Experience developing and maintaining dashboards, performance reports, and portfolio views for both operational and leadership stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, including data definitions, ownership, quality assurance, validation, documentation, and change management.
  • Ability to reconcile information across multiple databases and source systems and establish a consistent, authoritative version of portfolio information for reporting and decision-making.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage large volumes of changing information while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to explain complex data and analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A proactive, analytical, process-minded, and collaborative approach, with a strong desire to continually improve data quality, reporting capabilities, and portfolio visibility.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including hands-on experience building complex spreadsheets, analytics, and reporting.
  • Experience with tools used for database management, data visualization, and business intelligence; experience with platforms such as Power BI, SharePoint, SQL, or similar tools is strongly preferred.
