Data Center Talent Partner (Remote)

THE OPPORTUNITY We are growing our infrastructure and built-environment practice and are looking for a Talent Partner with genuine depth in data centre and construction recruitment. You will run end-to-end hiring across the full asset lifecycle: land and site development, design and engineering, cost and commercial, planning, project delivery, commissioning and live operations. This is a hands-on, delivery-led role. You will personally manage a portfolio of concurrent specialist searches, shape hiring plans with the leaders you support, and bring market evidence into decisions that are often made on instinct. You will also help set the standard for how we assess talent in this space. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING • Own delivery across a portfolio of specialist mandates spanning site development, design, MEP, construction, commissioning and operations. • Run the full cycle: intake and calibration, sourcing, assessment design, interview process, offer strategy, negotiation and close. • Build targeted sourcing strategies for scarce profiles: MEP engineers, construction and project managers, commissioning specialists, project controls, planners, commercial leads and critical facilities operators. • Partner closely with hiring leaders, building the credibility to advise, influence and constructively challenge. • Bring the market into the room: competitor and talent mapping, pay benchmarks, availability and realistic time-to-hire expectations. • Develop pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles across both head-office and site-based functions. • Raise assessment quality through clear competencies, calibrated scorecards and consistent debriefs. • Protect the candidate experience: responsive, transparent and high-touch where it matters. • Feed insight back into Matchr, contributing to playbooks, market intelligence and how we grow this practice. WHAT YOU'LL BRING • 6+ years in recruitment, with substantial depth in data centre, construction or wider infrastructure hiring (in-house, embedded, RPO or agency). • A proven record hiring technical and construction profiles: design engineers, project and programme managers, commissioning, QS and project controls. • Experience recruiting across multiple European markets, with a practical grasp of local hiring norms, compliance and pay differences. • Delivery across a range of seniorities, from site-based specialists through to leadership appointments. • Genuine sourcing capability: mapping, research and outreach that works in talent-short markets. • Confident stakeholder management, including with senior and technical leaders. • Strong working knowledge of the built-environment ecosystem: developers, operators, general contractors, M&E specialists and engineering consultancies. • A high bar for process quality, structured assessment and evidence-based decisions. • Comfort leading pay and levelling conversations on both the client and candidate side. • Self-direction and strong written communication, both essential in a remote team working on a contract basis. NICE TO HAVE • Exposure to mission-critical or high-availability environments. • Experience inside an embedded or RPO delivery model. • Working knowledge of ATS platforms such as Greenhouse, Workday or Ashby. • Additional European language skills.
