Location: Amsterdam (Hybrid - 1-2 days per week in office for meetings). Possible some EU Travel when required during deployments

Senior Lead Project Manager to support Clients global Lifecycle Management (LCM) programme across its data centre portfolio. This assignment carries full accountability for programme delivery, financial governance, and team leadership across North America, EMEA, and APAC regions.
The Project Lead will sit at the intersection of executive stakeholder management, global budget ownership, and hands-on programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Budget & Financial Management - Own the annual budget planning cycle - Maintain rolling month-to-month forecasts, including adjustments for low-activity periods and mid-year scope changes - Track board approval timelines and manage programme pacing accordingly - Manage capital allocation across North America, EMEA, and APAC cost centres - Authorise and document fund pivots between properties and regions as required - Oversee invoice processing and payment reconciliation across all regions - Manage global vendor professional services agreements through Blanket Purchase Orders - Coordinate with the Contingent Management Office on vendor compliance and contractor compensation

LCM Programme Delivery - Lead hardware lifecycle refresh and end-of-life device replacement across all global properties - Drive database and operational standardisation across the portfolio - Manage platform migration programmes - current cycle transitioning from Cisco to HPE - Maintain delivery schedules across simultaneous regional workstreams - Manage mid-year scope additions without displacing committed programme deliverables - Quantify programme outcomes as business value metrics, not delivery counts - Build and maintain the operational framework that supports future budget and FTE requests

Team Leadership - Provide direct leadership to 6-7 Project Managers across all regions - Oversee 10-15 Systems Engineers as indirect reports - Establish clear performance expectations and accountability from day one - Assess team capability and make recommendations for changes where needed - Preserve and build on existing tribal knowledge within the contractor team

Required Profile

• Senior Programme/Project Management in data center or critical infrastructure environments,
• Global budget ownership across multi-million dollar programmes, distributed team leadership across regions,
• Hardware LCM or technology refresh programmes, and vendor management and procurement governance.

Key attributes:

• Executive-level communication and credibility
• Financial fluency across forecasting and capital allocation, comfortable operating across cultures and time zones, strong bias for accountability and delivery ownership, and the ability to lead through ambiguity and drive team performance.
