Data Conversion Validator – PeopleSoft to Workday

We’re looking for a Senior/Expert Data Conversion Validator to support CUNY’s Workday Implementation, specifically the migration of Budget and Finance data from PeopleSoft to Workday.

Work Arrangement: 100% Remote

Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform record-level and aggregate reconciliation of migrated data
• Identify data quality issues, unmapped fields, transformation failures, and discrepancies
• Develop/refine PeopleSoft-to-Workday data crosswalks
• Validate Budget data integration with the Workday Financial Data Model (FDM)
• Document exceptions, root causes, and remediation steps
• Support UAT, mock conversions, go-live validation, and sign-off
• Provide knowledge transfer and potential training to company staff

Mandatory Qualifications – 7+ Years (84 Months):

• Budget/Finance data extraction and transformation
• SQL, Application Engine, and SQR optimization for data migration
• Mapping PeopleSoft data fields to Workday
• ETL implementation and post-migration data validation
• Working with functional teams and Workday consultants
• Data/conversion process documentation
• Collaboration across PeopleSoft, Workday, database, and cybersecurity teams
