Data Coordinator I

As a Data Coordinator I within our Clinical Data Management team, you’ll help ensure clinical study data is accurate, complete, and moving efficiently through our processes. You’ll investigate data discrepancies, process data correction requests, and maintain organized study documentation while working within established procedures and timelines. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with data, and learning in a collaborative global environment. You’ll receive comprehensive, hands-on training and gain exposure to different studies, sponsors, and teams as you build your career in clinical data management.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Review and investigate data correction requests and discrepancies, taking appropriate action in accordance with established SOPs and work instructions.
• Process source data, resolutions, and revisions accurately across operational systems while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
• Manage assigned work efficiently, prioritizing requests and supporting established turnaround times and departmental performance goals.
• Maintain accurate and complete study documentation throughout the study lifecycle, including filing source documents and archiving closed studies.
• Support data reconciliation activities by ensuring required database updates are completed within sponsor-requested timelines.
• Collaborate with global Data Coordination and Data Management colleagues, participate in study-related meetings, and contribute insights related to data quality and trends.

What We Look For

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field preferred, or at least one year of related experience.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to review information carefully, identify discrepancies, and investigate before taking action.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across global teams.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with proficient data-entry and typing skills.
• A proactive approach to learning and problem-solving, with the ability to apply previous learning to new situations and become increasingly independent.
• A continuous-improvement mindset and willingness to identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
