The analysts have the numbers. You build what makes senior leaders actually read them.
A data analysis team at an international defence organisation in Brussels needs a developer who can turn data from many sources into clean web applications and dashboards for senior leadership. The work is mostly remote, with a handful of visits to Brussels.
What you would be doing
- Designing, building and deploying web applications and dashboards with modern front-end frameworks
- Bringing data from classified and unclassified sources into those systems, with Python and ETL tooling doing the conversion and preparation
- Extending the team's data collection tools in line with what stakeholders ask for, and testing them with the people who use them
- Building dashboards for leadership in Python or Power BI
- Documenting code, endpoints and architecture, writing training material and handing knowledge over to staff
- Supporting security testing and approval, reporting progress and flagging risks to the timeline early
What you would bring
- At least 5 years of web development in JavaScript and HTML with React, Vue.js or Angular
- Extensive MS SQL experience; .NET is an advantage
- Python for automation, ETL and analysis (pandas, numpy, matplotlib) and experience building backend services or pipelines
- Dashboards built for senior stakeholders in Python and/or Power BI
- Git, Agile ways of working and a bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, IT or similar
- Advanced English and clear, confident communication
Why this one is worth a look
Your work lands directly in front of senior decision-makers, the pattern is largely remote, and it sits under a standing framework rather than a one-off project.
