What you’ll do
- Analyze, develop and maintain code for data solutions, including automation, integration and unit tests
- Use AWS technologies, infrastructure as code and development frameworks to support cloud-based data processing and analytics solutions
- Build, enhance and troubleshoot backend data processes, pipelines and integrations
- Implement code fixes, support user testing and help resolve defects or production issues
- Participate in design, coding and code review sessions with senior developers and other technical team members
- Contribute to the design and development of data models, analytics datasets and reporting-ready data assets
- Apply troubleshooting, documentation and continuous improvement practices to support reliable, maintainable data solutions
What you’ll bring to the team
Required qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
- Minimum three years of software development experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Experience developing, testing, troubleshooting and maintaining software or data solutions
- Experience with AWS technologies such as AWS Glue, Step Functions, S3, Redshift, QuickSight, Lambda, EventBridge or AppFlow
- Experience with programming and query languages such as Python, PySpark, TypeScript or SQL
- Knowledge of common development patterns and practices, including object-oriented or functional programming concepts
- Ability to work with technical team members to understand requirements, build solutions and support testing
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn new data development tools and practices
Preferred qualifications:
- AWS data development experience, especially with AWS QuickSight
