Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer who is eager to learn, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is motivated to grow and share knowledge.

• Contribute to the team goals and work on tasks covering the design and implementation of data processing systems, data pipelines and data visualization solutions

• Analyze and improving performance, data reliability and quality

• Actively communicate tasks, requirements, issues and open questions with your team and the client

• Learn new technologies, participating in various knowledge-sharing initiatives (e.g. delivering internal trainings) and mentoring less experienced team members

• Develop complex queries, write db scripts and stored procedures

• Develop new client specific reports and modifying existing ones, both pro-actively, in order to improve operational efficiencies, and in response to customer requests

• Troubleshoot and identify issues with existing reports and data by analyzing SQL and reports

The perfect candidate meets the following:

• 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, BI Developer or Database Administrator

• Solid understanding of data modeling, data processing and data warehousing principles

• Experience with a variety of database servers and cloud services

• Proficiency in SQL including query optimization

• Knowledge in ETL processes and tools (SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Apache Beam, etc.)

• Experience with data visualization tools

• Fluency in English
