🚀 We’re hiring: Data Engineer | Remote (LATAM)

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, optimize, and scale data engineering solutions within a fast-paced, consulting-driven environment. This role requires deep technical expertise across modern data platforms combined with strong client-facing skills.

💼 Role: Data Engineer

🌍 Location: Remote (LATAM)

💰 Salary: $2,800 USD/month

⏰ Working Hours: Full-time (35–40 hours per week)

💻 Core Tech / Industry: Python, SQL, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Databricks, Docker / Data & Analytics Consulting

What you’ll do:

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and engineering solutions across modern platforms
• Work extensively with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Apache Flink, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Dagster, and Databricks
• Apply strong database management and query optimization skills across T-SQL, SQL, and NoSQL systems
• Deploy and manage Docker-based solutions in cloud environments, ensuring data security both at rest and in transit
• Engage directly with technical and non-technical client stakeholders, clearly presenting plans, templates, and approaches
• Provide high-level consulting support, identifying opportunities and solving complex data problems
• Proactively anticipate system enhancements to deliver scalable, high-performance data solutions
• Collaborate across functional teams to implement data and analytics assets with proper monitoring

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in data engineering or a related field
• Possesses strong proficiency in Python and database management systems (T-SQL, SQL, NoSQL), including query optimization
• Is fully fluent in English
• Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Brings solid foundational software engineering skills and familiarity with DevOps, UNIX, Git, Docker, and object-oriented principles
• Has a strong consulting background, including direct client engagement and relationship management
• Bonus: Experience with Power BI is highly valued
