We are looking for a Senior-level Data Engineer to join our team.
What are you going to do?
As a Senior Data Engineer you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing our cloud-based data platform. You will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines, improving data architecture, and enabling advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning use cases across the business.
Your profile
You are an experienced Data Engineer who combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication and collaboration skills. You enjoy working in diverse, international teams and are proactive in driving improvements and sharing knowledge.
Furthermore, you:
- Have 5+ years of experience building, maintaining, and deploying production-grade data solutions.
- Have strong experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, REST APIs, and modern data engineering practices.
- Have experience working with Google BigQuery and cloud-based data platforms.
- Understand modern data lake and data warehouse architectures and best practices.
- Are familiar with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD principles, preferably using Terraform.
- Have strong knowledge of SQL and experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Have experience with integration patterns including REST APIs, event-driven architectures, Kafka, and service-oriented architectures.
- Have experience with cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Have working knowledge of dashboarding and reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Have experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP); other cloud experience is also valuable.
- Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
