We continuously strive to push the boundaries of technology and improve healthcare outcomes through our advanced analytical systems.
About The Role
We are seeking a motivated Werkstudent (working student) in Data Engineering & Digitalization (m/w/d) to join our team at Nördlingen with the option for remote work. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and building the technical foundation for a new enterprise-wide reporting platform. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in integrating data from various corporate systems, structuring it effectively, and ensuring reliable data availability for analysis and decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in data architecture, business intelligence, and digital transformation to gain practical experience in a dynamic environment.
The focus of your technical work will include data connection, data structures, data models, data flows, quality assurance, and technical deployment. You will collaborate closely with the controlling and business teams to define KPIs, develop reports, and perform data analysis. Your efforts will directly contribute to establishing automated, traceable, and high-quality data pipelines that support strategic insights and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is an enrolled student in fields such as Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Data Engineering, or a comparable program. You should have a genuine interest in data architecture, integration, business intelligence, digitalization, and artificial intelligence. Basic knowledge of SQL, relational databases, or data modeling is essential. Familiarity with tools like Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Python, ETL processes, APIs, or similar technologies will be advantageous. Strong analytical skills, a structured working style, and the ability to document technical concepts clearly are important. We value self-motivation, meticulousness, and teamwork, along with excellent communication skills in German and English.
Responsibilities
Join us in a greenfield environment where you will have the opportunity to shape the technical landscape of our reporting systems from scratch. You will work on practical projects that deliver tangible benefits to controlling, operational teams, and management. Gain insights into various domains such as Data & Analytics, ERP, document management, process automation, Microsoft 365, and AI. We encourage proactive contributions and innovative ideas, providing you with a platform to develop your technical skills and professional growth. Collaborate with experienced colleagues in an open, supportive culture that values your input. Flexible working arrangements, including remote work and on-site presence in Nördlingen or Munich, allow you to balance your studies and work effectively.
