Data Engineer
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to architect, build, and maintain robust data infrastructure within the IT Services sector. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing scalable data solutions that drive business intelligence and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in cloud technologies and data processing frameworks to ensure seamless data flow, high performance, and reliability across our organization's data ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement efficient data ingestion and transformation workflows to handle diverse data sources.
- Develop and manage complex data integration and processing systems to support enterprise analytics.
- Diagnose and resolve critical issues within data pipelines to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity.
- Continuously optimize data pipeline performance to enhance speed, reduce costs, and improve scalability.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and deliver tailored engineering solutions.
- Architect and maintain reliable ETL and ELT pipelines using industry-standard tools and best practices.
- Utilize Databricks and GCP BigQuery to build advanced data processing and analytical capabilities.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in data engineering roles.
- Proven expertise in data ingestion, transformation, integration, and processing methodologies.
- Strong background in troubleshooting data pipelines and implementing performance optimization strategies.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Databricks and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) BigQuery.
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT pipeline architecture and data engineering principles.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a collaborative approach to team dynamics.
- Compensation range for this position is ₹22-23 LPA.
