🧡 About the Project

You will join an international data team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern data platforms that support business-critical decision-making across multiple markets and business units.

Working closely with Data Architects, Data Scientists, Analysts, and Business Stakeholders, you will help build robust and scalable data pipelines within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem while contributing to the organization's data-driven transformation journey.

This role requires a strong technical background in data engineering, cloud technologies, and modern data architectures, combined with excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Build and optimize data solutions using Google Cloud Platform services.
  • Develop and maintain data ingestion frameworks for structured and unstructured data.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and governance across the platform.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Optimize data processing performance and cost efficiency within cloud environments.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting mechanisms for data workloads.
  • Support Data Science and Analytics teams by delivering reliable and high-quality datasets.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the evolution of the data platform.
  • Apply best practices regarding CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code for data solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge sharing, and technical documentation.
  • Work within Agile delivery teams following modern software development practices.


Skills & Experience

  • +5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proven experience building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • BigQuery
  • Cloud Storage
  • Dataflow
  • Pub/Sub
  • Dataproc
  • Composer (Airflow)
  • Cloud Functions
  • Solid experience with SQL and data modelling concepts.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and data integration projects.
  • Good understanding of data warehousing and modern data architectures.
  • Experience working with large datasets in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control tools such as Git.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while maintaining a strong collaborative mindset.
  • Fluent in English.
