AlliedGlobal is looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong IBM DB2 expertise to join an international technology team working on critical payroll and financial data systems.

🔑 Key Skills

• IBM DB2 – DB2 for i and/or DB2 LUW
• Advanced SQL – query optimization, stored procedures, views
• Data Engineering & ETL/Data Integration
• Python and/or Java
• AWS Glue, S3, Lambda & IAM
• Apache Kafka – event-driven data pipelines
• dbt & TimeXtender
• Data modeling, lineage, governance & architecture
• APIs, message queues & system integrations
• CDC / incremental data extraction
• CI/CD and DevOps practices

🎯 What You'll Do

✔️ Design, build and operate production data pipelines

✔️ Develop and optimize high-volume DB2 data flows

✔️ Build integrations between DB2, applications, SaaS and financial/ERP platforms

✔️ Design batch and event-driven pipelines using Kafka and AWS

✔️ Implement data quality, validation and reconciliation processes

✔️ Help modernize legacy DB2/IBM i data environments

✔️ Work closely with Engineering, Product, Data and Operations teams

✔️ Contribute to modern cloud data architecture and migration initiatives

⭐ We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have:

5+ years of Data Engineering experience and a strong track record working with IBM DB2 and production data pipelines.

Experience with IBM i / AS400, JD Edwards, CDC tools, payroll, accounting, ERP or legacy platform modernization is a strong plus.
