• Design, build, and optimise scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and robust data platforms that support business objectives across Southeast Asia and APAC.
• Develop and maintain innovative data solutions using modern technologies including Snowflake, Azure Data Services, and Microsoft Fabric to ensure reliable performance.
• Build efficient data ingestion and integration processes spanning databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications for seamless information flow.
• Create SQL-based transformations, sophisticated data models, and streamlined processing workflows that enhance analytics capabilities.
• Design and implement contemporary cloud data warehouse and lakehouse solutions tailored to complex organisational needs.
• Optimise data pipelines, queries, workloads, performance metrics, scalability factors, and cost efficiency to maximise value for stakeholders.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, architects, and technology teams to translate requirements into actionable technical solutions.
• Support initiatives around data quality assurance, governance frameworks, security protocols, and comprehensive data lineage tracking.
• Troubleshoot issues related to pipeline reliability or integration challenges while ensuring consistent delivery of accurate information.
• Contribute actively to technical design discussions, proof-of-concepts (POCs), solution development efforts, and continuous improvement activities within the team.

• 4-10 years of proven experience in Data Engineering roles focused on Data Warehousing, Integration or Cloud Data Engineering within large-scale environments.
• Hands-on expertise with at least one major platform: Snowflake (including ELT optimisation), Microsoft Azure Data Services (such as Data Factory or Synapse), or Microsoft Fabric (OneLake/Data Pipelines).
• Advanced proficiency in SQL programming combined with strong skills in designing effective data models for analytics purposes.
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT methodologies alongside experience building resilient pipelines for complex datasets.
• Experience working with cloud platforms like Azure (preferred), AWS or GCP; familiarity with Databricks or Apache Airflow is advantageous.
• Exposure to modern tools such as dbt for transformation workflows; Power BI for visualisation; Python for scripting; APIs for integration; Git/CI/CD for deployment automation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of best practices around data governance frameworks including quality assurance measures and security principles relevant to cloud environments.
• Demonstrated ability managing large volumes of structured/unstructured information efficiently within enterprise settings.
• Excellent analytical skills paired with a collaborative approach towards problem-solving in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong communication abilities enabling effective stakeholder management across different time zones within SEA/APAC regions.
