DATA ENGINEER (f/m/d)
Your role with us: As part of our Data & Innovation team, you will take full ownership of our Data Warehouse. You will consolidate existing data streams, build scalable pipelines, and create the technical data backbone for our systems, dashboards, and AI agents—hands-on, free from legacy constraints, and with maximum architectural freedom.
Location: Innsbruck (hybrid)
Employment type: Full-time, permanent position
Start date: Immediately / by agreement
Compensation: From €4,500 gross/month (14x per year) with above-market compensation possible depending on qualifications and experience.
Your Tasks & Responsibilities:
- You design, build, and operate our central, GDPR-compliant PostgreSQL Data Warehouse as a Single Source of Truth.
- You develop automated ingestion pipelines (e.g., from Salesforce) and cleanly integrate external source systems like Deskline via API.
- You build the transformation layer with dbt (staging/mart structure) and define unified metrics so logic isn't reinvented.
- You provide warehouse data via clean interfaces for dashboards, apps, and AI agents, and establish reliable Data Quality Monitoring.
- You develop automated workflows and actively help shape our AI architecture (from pgvector-based RAG setups to specialized agents).
What you should bring to the role:
- Several years of experience in building and managing relational databases (ideally PostgreSQL), along with solid hands-on experience with cloud database services.
- Strong Python skills for data pipelines and API integrations, as well as proficient handling of REST APIs, Git, and systematic troubleshooting.
- Practical know-how in transformation and orchestration (e.g., with dbt, Airflow, Prefect, or n8n) and an understanding of CRM data structures (such as Salesforce).
- Enthusiasm for modern data-tech topics—experience with data quality tools (e.g., Great Expectations, Soda) or LLM APIs/vector databases is a definite plus.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken, and the right to work in Austria or the EU.
Why keyone?
- Real Impact & Autonomy: You take full ownership of architectural decisions, consciously help choose your stack, and build systems free of legacy burden.
- Visible Results: Your work directly moves the needle—the data infrastructure you develop simplifies our team's day-to-day work and tangibly shapes our growth.
- Culture & Momentum: An international, high-performing team, flat hierarchies, fast decision-making, and a genuinely lived culture of diversity.
- Flexibility & Workplace: Flexible working hours and the ideal balance between remote work and our modern office in Innsbruck.
- Team Spirit & Perks: Regular team events, attractive employee discounts, and an environment that rewards personal initiative.
