We seek a Data Engineer willing to accept new challenges in our Closer team in a hybrid/remote model (*must live in Portugal - mandatory):

What you'll do:

• Develop end-to-end features on a cloud (AWS) big data platform, based on data analysis and processing
• Actively participate in discussions on feature architecture and the definition of the required data flows and processes
• Build proofs of concept
• Develop production versions: test, deploy to development/QA/production environments, monitor initial performance, and handle debugging and ongoing maintenance
• Document the features developed
• Support data extraction and exploratory analysis

Required skills:

• Experience with Python, particularly in data manipulation and processing
• Experience with SQL
• Experience in programming and debugging
• Interest in data science

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with AWS cloud (e.g. S3, Lambda, Athena, EC2, Glue, CDK/CloudFormation, Step Functions, Batch, Fargate, …)
• Spark / PySpark
• Git
• Jupyter Notebooks
• Experience developing applications and/or working in production environments
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience deploying models to production environments and managing the model lifecycle
