We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry & Web Research Specialist to join our team for a long-term engagement.

About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized researcher to help us build an accurate and comprehensive database of school district and charter school personnel across the United States. Your primary responsibility will be navigating US school district websites, locating staff directories, and accurately extracting contact information for key decision-makers.

Because school websites can be complex and are all structured differently, this role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a high level of reading comprehension, and extreme attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual web research to locate official websites for US public school districts and charter schools.
• Navigate complex site maps to find staff directories, board of education pages, and administrative contact lists.
• Identify specific personnel (e.g., Superintendents, Principals, IT Directors, Curriculum Coordinators) based on our target criteria.
• Accurately extract and input data (Names, Job Titles, Email Addresses, Phone Numbers, and Mailing Addresses) into our Google Sheets databases.
• Verify and clean existing data to ensure 100% accuracy and eliminate duplicates.
• Make occasional phone calls to school front offices to verify a contact name, title, or email address.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, Data Entry Specialist, or Web Researcher.
• Language Skills: Excellent spoken and written English. You must be able to communicate clearly and confidently over the phone for data verification, and in daily team communications.
• Tech-Savvy (Google Workspace): Highly proficient in the Google Workspace ecosystem (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Drive, Gmail). You must be very comfortable formatting, filtering, and collaborating live within Google Sheets.
• Attention to Detail: You double-check your work and take pride in having zero typos or formatting errors.
• Cultural Familiarity: A basic understanding of US administrative structures or the US education system (School Districts, Boards of Education, Charter Schools) is a massive plus.
• Self-Starter: Ability to work independently during the required shift, meet deadlines, and communicate proactively if you run into roadblocks.

Technical Requirements:

• A reliable computer/laptop.
• A stable, high-speed internet connection (minimum [X] Mbps).
• A noise-canceling headset for making clear phone calls.
• A backup internet connection or power source (highly preferred to ensure zero downtime during your shift).
