Job Description
The ideal candidate for this position must have a positive attitude and be self-motivated while also taking direction from Management. Requires oral/written communication skills and a proven history of providing exceptional customer service at all levels. Our work environment is team oriented and very fast paced, therefore a strong candidate must have excellent organizational and time management skills in addition to a professional attitude that exemplifies the Optimere culture.
Position hours are 8A-5P Monday - Friday daytime with overtime as needed.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
Understand and identify customs documentation
Transpose customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration
Verify documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct
Provide excellent customer service building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally
Ensure compliance at all times to regulations
Daily execution of workflow and department metrics
Qualifications
Associates or Bachelors Degree,
Effective interpersonal skills- including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical
Proficient computer skills- solid data entry with high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Growth mindset, eager to learn and develop your skills
Desire for a career in supply chain/logistics
