SAP S/4HANA Data Management Specialist

Global Enterprise Partners is supporting a leading organisation in the energy sector that is currently undergoing a significant SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Data Management Specialist to support data migration, governance, and quality initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
This is a remote opportunity open to candidates based within the European Union.


Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support data migration activities within an SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Analyse, cleanse, enrich, and validate master and transactional data.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data quality and data readiness requirements.
• Support data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation processes.
• Work closely with teams supporting SAP SD and PP business processes.
• Identify and resolve data-related issues prior to testing and deployment phases.
• Contribute to data governance initiatives and ensure adherence to agreed standards.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation related to data management activities.
• Support testing, cutover, and go-live activities from a data perspective.
  
  

Required Experience

• Proven experience in Data Management, Data Migration, or Master Data roles within SAP environments.
• Strong hands-on experience working with SAP S/4HANA.
• Familiarity with SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) and PP (Production Planning) modules.
• Experience with data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and migration activities.
• Solid understanding of Master Data Management and Data Governance principles.
• Previous involvement in large-scale ERP transformation programmes.
• Experience within the energy or utilities industry is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
• Fluent English language skills.
